  • Clients within Australia: Services are delivered by practitioners registered with recognised and accredited professional bodies in Australia (such as the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency – AHPRA or the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia – PACFA). These are considered formal psychological and therapeutic services.

  • Clients outside Australia: Services are offered as mental health and wellbeing support. These services are not recognised as psychological or clinical treatment and should not be considered a substitute for professional mental health care or regulated therapy in your country of residence.

2. Responsibility of International Clients

  • Clients outside Australia are responsible for checking the laws and regulations in their own country regarding access to online mental health support.

  • Peaceful Seaside Psychology does not take responsibility for the recognition, legality, or limitations of these services in jurisdictions outside Australia.

3. Confidentiality and Privacy

  • All personal and health-related information is handled in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and relevant ethical standards.

  • Confidentiality may only be limited in situations where there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others, or where disclosure is required by law.

4. Limitations of Online Services

  • Online sessions may be affected by technical issues such as internet instability or software problems.

  • Peaceful Seaside Psychology does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service delivery.

5. No Emergency or Crisis Services

  • Peaceful Seaside Psychology does not provide crisis or emergency services.

  • If you are in Australia and in an emergency, please call 000.

  • If you are outside Australia, please contact your local emergency number or national crisis line immediately.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Peaceful Seaside Psychology is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of this website or its services.
